Health Visitors, Clinics and development checks

 

Health Clinics are held at the Children's Centre as pre-booked appointments.
Health Visitors are not based at the Children's Centre and the Children's Centre staff are unable make appointments/take messages for the Health Visitors.

If you do not have a phone number for your Health Visitor and have an urgent concern about your child, then please use the text messaging service for parents/carers of children 0 - 19 years.

Health Visitor clinics are held at Visions Children's Centre Oakham, LE15 6HW:

  • Monday 9.30 - 12.00 hrs
  • First & third Tuesday of the month 9.00 - 12.00 hrs: 2 Year Reviews
  • Wednesday 13.00 - 16.00 hrs
  • Thursday 9.30 - 12.00 hrs
  • Friday from 10.00 hrs: Baby's Next Steps

    Held approximately when Baby is 4 months old, these sessions are appointment only/invited sessions.

Let's Get Talking courses are run by Health Visitor nursery nurses who identify children who's speech and language may need more work.

Courses are held on Fridays at Visions Children's Centre Oakham and by referral only.

Course times:  13.30 to 15.00 hrs

Dates:  Next course starts tbc.
